Biography

Basic backstory and current.

Born and raised in Ul'dah. Daughter of a spice and dye merchant (dad) and a sea-traveler merchant (mom), this Plainsfolk Lalafell travels back and forth between her home and Limsa Lominsa, the latter being the place where she found her passion in pastry cuisine. With the help of her mother, Moffifi traveled around Eorzea and across the seas, learning new recipes to earn more experience and discover new flavours in order to open her dream Library-Café.Additionally, Moffifi also learned a bit of magic from the Thaumaturges at Ul'dah since her father knew them after many trades with them, she currently intends to use her knowledge to improve her cooking skills. One autumn noon during her cooking internship at The Drowning Wench in Limsa, a newcomer Xaela a beast-hunter of the Khatayin tribe, happened to stop by where she was working and got the first dessert he could lay his eyes on, a combination of milk, corn, and flour. Once he tasted it, he couldn't stop complimenting the cornbread she made and promised her he was going to come back for more.Something sparkled between the two since that day and each time he came back to the store it wasn't just for another dessert, but rather to get to know each other better. After many more visits, their relationship grew stronger to the point that they became inseparable and developed deep feelings for each other, leading to their eternal bonding many moons later. She currently spends her days learning new foreign recipes, working at her Sugar-Coated Moffins Cafe, and of course, fishing.

Deeper Backstory

Extra details about her.

(This part still have some things to be fixed grammatically speaking)Moffifi was lucky to have been born under the roof of two traders. They were not awfully wealthy, but she never missed a single thing in her childhood, however her parents also taught her about the importance of hard-work since a very young age through the help in her father's Spices and Dye shop were she learned the art of creating dyes and pigmenting your own fabrics, knowledge that she used later in life to dye all her outfits in their respective Millioncorn tint. One event in Moffifi's younger years that marked her forever was a great fire that took place inside the store's stockhouse were she got trapped and couldn't escape due the flames intensity, no one knows to this day how that lalafell could have escaped that disaster alive but locals attribute it to have been a Nald'thal favor. Later it was discovered that the culprit of the catastrophe was a rival trader whom did not go unpunished by their actions and karma got the best planned for her family and they got back on their feet pretty quickly and their business grew stronger than ever. This experience derived in three aspects for Moffifi's future. The first being her obsessive love for Millioncorn, as a result of the fire and as silly as it could sound the heat made the kernels stored explode into popcorn and that amazed her in the middle of the panic and eased her fear at least for a few minutes before she passed out due the smoke inhaled. The second aspect, was an immense devotion for the twin gods, it could be that she was influenced by people speculations on her survival but Moffifi felt that she owed her live to Nald and Thal. Could have been possible that the Overseer of the Underworld interfered in the girl's death that night by the arson started by a jealous rival trader and that angered the God of Commerce so they decided to change their fates? That is the idea that Moffifi felt truth to her heart and she wants to honor them by making her own cooking business with her own savings. Finally the third and final aspect that Moffifi got that night was massive fear of fire, the trauma was so intense the weeks after the tragedy that she couldn't even see a candle without starting to panic. Her father due his deals with The Thaumaturges' Guild is in Ul'dah, suggested that she joined them to learn the basics of magic. What could be better than confronting your own fears with the power to control them? he thought, but this idea quickly flopped when Moffifi started to use her new acquired skills to use methods of creating heat through out the casting of magic circles directly under pans and pots in the kitchen to use in her day to day. This alternatives helped Moffifi to found her true passion later in life, cooking and baking.Moffifi became what we could say a little bit much obsessed over the things she really likes, this can be easily seen in the fact that all her outfits and most of her belongings are painted with Millioncorn dye and that she also mastered all the recipes with said cereal grain that she could find. She also has an impressive collection (to the point of hoarding) of books of different subjects but mostly novels and cooking books each one of them covered in a thin layer of aether to help keep them clean and reduce any damage done by guests in her café. Another one of her passions, fishing, granted her of a good amount of prizes and recognition in tournaments on Limsa. Most of the fishes she caught, she releases them back to the ocean, some of them get used in new cooking recipes and the few closer to the millioncorn's yellow shade she keeps them to herself as pets. At long last and perhaps her biggest flaw, her obsession with her husband. She can get a bit over-protecting and caring to the point of asking all the time if he ate already or that he should be more careful with his hunting jobs, she can too get extremely jealous around him but not because she doesn't trust him, Moffifi is just afraid that someone will broke her heart and leave her again due her extreme behaviour.

Thank you for taking the time to read, I just want to make a couple of things clear over here!

- Moffifi's idea was born mixing some elements of myself irl and she was my "attempt" of making a goblin-like character when I migrated from WoW to FFXIV.- She is COMPLETELY forbidden from any kind of ERP or even the assumption of it. When me and my partner started playing, she createed a male Au'ra and we weren't planning to get them together, it just happened, please, restrain yourself from talking about +18 themes of Moffifi and Husun because is something we don't even rp with these characters for most obvious reasons.- I wont be giving my discord so easily, but could happen if we develop a friendship.- I'm more open to chill and fun roleplay, going to Moffifi's Cafe is always an option.- I'm extremely shy, so I might not approach first, english is not my first language and I have poor knowledge of the FFXIV lore and I'm afraid I might mess it up, so I just ask for your patience.

Possible approaches and plotlines!

- You have some basic knowledge of cooking, perhaps you are an epicure person or are you just hungry? Hell yes!- Do you have any personal fishing records or participed in fishing tournaments? or maybe you are just a sailor who has seen some sea beasts in their travels? Aye!- You have an interest of alternative uses of magic(no just combat) and want to see what a thaumaturge apprentice can do in a kitchen? Let's go!- Moffifi even though is not an adventurer herself, they are no strangers to her, so if you happened to eat at Limsa in recent years, you may have probably tasted something she made! Yeah!- Have you recently purcharse any spices or dyes in Ul'dah? You might have probably met her father! He definitely mentioned her yellow obsessed daughter.- Have you ever been at The Drowning Wench in Limsa Lominsa and tasted their famous cornbread recipe? For sure they let you know one of their previous interns perfected it! That is one of Moffifi's originals!- Or just go straight to the point, why so much yellow? When did the obsession begin and why does it still persist? It's impossible to ignore such vibrant colors! Most certainly!- More to be added soon.
